Over Girlguiding Age Limit (65 yrs) UPDATE Jan 2011 Policy changes The Membership and Recruitment Policy has changed as a result of the work undertaken by task and finish groups for Safeguarding, the 65+ policy and Go!. As part of the changes, Young Leaders are no longer required to undergo criminal record disclosure checks or to provide references and, from April 2011, the retirement age for Leaders and Commissioners is changing - read the FAQs online. You can read the new policy in the online Guiding Manual. If you have queries or concerns about the changes, please contact your Commissioner. Subscriptions 2012 Trefoil Guild members and Girlguiding UK members Please note that Girlguiding UK and The Trefoil Guild are separate associations and each has their own annual subscription. Trefoil Guild members wishing to receive the Guiding magazine and other Girlguiding UK membership benefits, such as discounts, will need to be registered as members on Go! and pay the Girlguiding UK annual subscription at the level where they are a member. |
